I have followed Kelly Coleman Founder of NewCID cosmetics for many years on instagram. Not only is Kelly stunningly beautiful but has created a brand of cosmetics than are functional, easy to use and highly pigmented. Savvy in her endeavours NewCID was born out of a salon; listening to what thousands of woman want from cosmetics as many found it completely overwhelming.

I was so pleased to have been sent 3 products from the NewCID range. The packaging was so sleek and minimalist and the lipstick has a built in LED light so highly innovative too, perfect for nights out with the girls or for date night with your partner.

NewCID Cosmetics

i-pout lipstick in soft peach was a beautifully intense shade of peach with a semi matt finish. A long wearing lipstick but emollient so didn’t dry my lips out and felt very like Mac original matt lipsticks. Costing £18:00.

i-colour in Tourmaline is a long wearing cream eyeshadow. The colour is so pretty its a quartz pink with a hint of gold. Very mousse like in texture, it didn’t sit in creases or fine lines and if you have very oily lids it drys to a semi matt finish. It is just so versatile and can be used as a base with powder layered on top for a more dramatic look. It is easily compatible to Charlotte Tilbury but with a smaller price tag of £15:00 I have been wearing this cream shadow most days since I received it as its easily applied with a brush (or fingers) quickly and a slick of mascara and your ready to rock.

i-colour Tourmaline

Finally sound the FanFare for i-glow in Sirocco this highlighter is one of the best highlighters i have ever used! If you don’t know I am the queen of highlighters! It’s a very highly pigmented Italian baked formula that comes in a generous mirrored compact. This first piqued my interest on YouTube when i saw Caroline Hirons and A Model Recommends both waxing lyrical about how good this highlighter was. I had a stranger stop me in Liverpool Airport to ask me about my skin and highlighter, high praise indeed.

I recently uploaded a picture to Facebook and the response was overwhelming for i-glow in Sirocco. It doesn’t settle into pores or fine lines and can be used on the usual high points of the cheek, brow bone, cupids bow of the lip, centre of the eyelid and even on your décolletage. It looks like your skin has been airbrushed and kissed by angels *ahhhhh*

I am totally in love with NewCID Cosmetics and all 3 products have not disappointed. Whilst the products work well on my older skin they will work just as well on teens and twenty-somethings. High quality ingredients, great packaging and very user friendly products, make this brand a winner.
