Brunch is one of my favourite things to do on a sunday, and I’ve just found my favourite spot in Ireland to do that, Le Drunch at The Marker. A Parisian idea with a twist of Irish you will find the perfect hybrid of Lunch and Dinner….. Le Drunch. Whilst you order your food in the luxurious modern dockside hotel The Marker, the DJ is playing and my husband and I where getting ready for a concert at The Aviva and it certainly got us in a fabulous mood.
The Marker where kind enough to invite myself and my husband to Le Drunch and we kicked off with 2 delicious cocktails, a rhubarb mojito and a watermelon Bellini perfect summer cocktails. The Marker Cocktail menu
Kicking off we ordered the Chipotle Chicken Wings with blue cheese, creme fraiche, pomegranate lime and coriander which fell off the bone, my husband was in chicken wing heaven! Le Drunch Menu
The main event I ordered the Steak and egg which was utterly delicious and came with mushroom, and a tomato relish. My husband had the John Stone Butchers secret, champ Portobello mushroom with sausages on a cafe au lait peppercorn sauce. These dishes hit the spot for our evening ahead at a concert at The Aviva. The portions where so huge we decided to finish off with another cocktail. As I was staying at The Marker we finished up and headed upstairs to the Luxurious room. Book via email or call The Marker to reserve. Booking Le Drunch at The Marker
I’ve stayed at a few 5 stars in Dublin and for me, The Marker service was ahead of many others. Seamless check-in, underfloor heating in the large bathroom imagine that in the cold months! The Hotel manager left a lovely handwritten note and a bowl of fresh fruit, it’s those touches and the Conciege who was so friendly and helpful that will make me return to The Marker.
