I am all about that JLO Glow. Summer has always been my favourite season and I love to have ethereal skin year round. Thankfully we are heading towards Spring and Summer; So say hello to Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in the colour indiscretion….

In the UK  Ireland and USA these illuminators come in four colours

  • Indiscretion rose gold for light medium skin (the one i have bought and tried)
  • Devotion suitable for very fair skin, shimmering pale pink
  • Addiction a very gold and yellow based suitable for medium skin,
  • Seduction a bronzed highlighter suitable for deeper darker skin tones or as a bronzing highlighter for medium to deep  skin tone.

I cannot speak highly enough of Indiscretion, it’s the perfect rose gold highlighter. It comes with a ripple effect which I thought whilst pretty will be very messy on application, not so. It’s very finely milled which means it goes on to the skin beautifully and doesn’t sit in any pores perfect for over 30’s and very oily skins. I was able to wear it subtly for daytime and build it up for a night-time JLO Glow. It is more spendy than some other highlighters but it more than makes up for that in texture and wear ability on the skin.

If like me you love highlighters indiscretion is very similar to Spellbound by Laura Mercier which was limited edition a few years back. I still hanker for Estee Lauder gel illuminator in Heat wave which i wasnt able to buy and sells for a ridiculous amount on selling sites.

      Thanks a mill missus, it’s definitely harder as we get older to get a highlighter that doesn’t sit in pores etc. I need to check out the blusher, I can’t get away from Milani luminoso (even over some high end yokes) xx

        Thank you so much, they definitely have increased with age. Alpha H liquid Gold is my dessert island product, I’ve used it for a year now and my skin has benefited soooo much x

        I found this product on cultbeauty…I guess I’ll give it a try after I will read some in depth reviews.😊 I am always on the hunt for really good skincare products.
