Shine Bright Like A Diamond… Sleek I-Divine Diamond Decade Palette

A few weeks ago I was invited by the fabulous Publicity Loft to celebrate Sleek I-Devine palette turning 10. The event was in Dublin at Drury Buildings and the decor certainly set the tone for an amazing brunch. Greeted with cocktails cupcakes and an amazing delicious brunch menu, myself and the other bloggers were entranced by the amazing MUA Pixiewooo, as she worked her magic on a model using the Sleek I-Devine Diamond Decade Palette.

Sleek I-Devine Diamond Decade palette features the iconic brand colours of pink and black, (just like the first one did in 2007) 12 mineral based eyeshadows and a hot pink lipstick called Dream Decade round out this limited edition birthday collection. The sleek black packaging has a full length mirror and the shadows are a mixture of Matt and shimmer.

I have been a fan of Sleek for 10 years as the eyeshadow and contouring palettes are so highly pigmented, and whilst its drugstore prices it certainly wears and applies like some of my higher end palettes. As I’m older I do like a more natural look to my makeup but I do love a smoky eye for evening. I put the Diamond Decade through its paces over the course of a week, and for evening I dampened a small eye makeup brush and packed on the top row light shimmer shadow creating a spotlight effect on my eyeball which looked amazing. I had so many compliments by friends and on social media. The foundation used was Milani conceal and perfect you can read about it Here

Sleek have created an amazing palette, it certainly is in keeping with the heritage of the brand with the iconic colours and no repetition, all the colours are distinctly different. I feel it will suit all colouring from light like myself right through to the deeper darker skin tones. There is a tiny bit of fallout from the eyeshadow which I have totally forgiven as the price point and pigment are amazing. The Diamond Decade palette will work for all ages as you can be as dramatic or subtle as you like. I’ve been reaching for this palette a lot and I know I will get great wear for Christmas parties and events.

Ladies this Sleek I-Divine Diamond Decade palette is limited edition, so run don’t walk to Boots, Superdrug Sleek direct and independent pharmacies in store and online,  as once its gone you will regret it. Cost £8:99

••Full Disclosure•• Sleek gifted me the Diamond Decade palette, as always the reviews are my own.

I love the Sleek palettes in general because they’re amazing for such good value and I really don’t think they have any more fallout than my Urban Decay ones. I don’t know how much I’d reach for this one in particular just because they’re not colours I ever use but it looks so pretty on you! Didn’t know they’d been around ten years!
