As I’ve had an influx of new followers on my blog and social channels I thought I would reintroduce myself. Last week happened to be Rare Disease Day 2018 and as I live with Chronic Pancreatitis what better time to tell you about myself and give back to you Lurganista Lovelies with a competition.
I had my first Acute Attack in 2002 which required hospital inpatient treatment and the start of a long journey which was costly and difficult as pancreatitis is fairly rare: Acute pancreatitis can be life threatening and always requires hospital attention with an incidence of 450 in 1million, with Chronic Pancreatitis statistics are 3 in 100’000. Unfortunately with treatment in the UK and major surgery I had to give up work in 2008 and that lead me to the path of blogging 2 years ago. As i previously worked as a beauty retail manager i was already a skincare, beauty, and fashion lover. Blogging means I can choose what works around me and my bold pancreas. Know I will always give an honest review as integrity means a lot to me.  Read in depth here Chronic Pancreatitis….you won’t win!Â
