There is something so satisfying about finishing a product right to the end , seeing your skin glow and wanting to repurchase. I’ve kept my skincare empties and will share with you lovelies what has worked and what hasn’t worked so let’s get started…
The Full Skincare line up
Cleansing:
**Dermalogica Pre Cleanse: has been a joy to use, it comes with a silicon mitt and my skin feels so amazing afterwards. I feel like it lifts all dirt and impurities from my pores and skin. In-depth… Dermalogica Skincare
Garnier Micellar Water: This has been a staple of mine for a long time, living with a chronic illness its super quick to use when I’m not feeling great. This would be perfect for busy mums and students alike and is available in a different skin types nation-wide from pharmacies and supermarkets.
Moisturiser:
**Dermalogica skin smoothing cream. A favourite of Gwyneth Paltrow sadly my skin was a little to dry for this moisturiser, it’s a beautiful moisturiser for all skin types except very dry. I will be repurchasing Cetaphil as I’ve eczema prone very dry skin.
serum and Retinoids
**Clarins Double Serum: has an innovative dual phased chamber of water and oil, which my skin just drinks. The addition of Tumeric and other actives means your skin looks and feels fabulous. I will be repurchasing this immediately as my skin glows. in-depth The best just got better… Clarins Double Serum.
The Ordinary Advanced Retinol 2% : I have noticed that my fine lines aren’t as deep with this serum. I would like to step up my retinol regime but currently its only available via private consultation in the UK and Ireland. Do not use retinol if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Always use SPF daily too with retinoids.
Exfoliators AHA.s
Alpha H Liquid Gold is a product I simply can’t live without. It has reached cult status for a good reason. Its an exfoliator but doesn’t have grains, it also targets fine lines too which is a win win. I was without it for a few weeks and my skin was flaky dull and lacklustre. My makeup glides on and my skin looks amazing, I think I’m on my 5th bottle! read more….Believe the Hype: Alpha H Liquid Gold
supplements
**Ingenious Beauty ultimate collagen+
It was my hairdresser who first noticed my hair had grown so quickly and thickly, which was a delight. I then noticed my skin looked plumper and more youthful. These capsules are amazing and I’m not sure i could stop using as my hair nails and skin are looking much improved which is a big ask with Chronic Pancreatitis. I would recommend anyone over 30 to take these amazing capsules. My full reviewIngenious Beauty collagen+ Capsules Beauty Beyond Skincare…
Apart from the Dermalogica Moisturiser I will, or have repurchased the products mentioned here at Lurganista HQ. I hope you lovelies can get your skin looking and feeling as fab as mine.

Thanks a million! Alpha H has took my flaky skin away, after only a month without my skin was in bits! The expensive Superfoliant D didn’t work as well!
